Lake Eyasi is home to several communities with different cultural traditions and ways of life.
Spend the evening near Lake Eyasi and prepare for an early morning cultural experience the following day.

Begin the day early and travel with a local guide to meet a Hadzabe community.
The Hadzabe are traditionally hunter-gatherers and have lived around the Lake Eyasi region for generations.
Rather than following a fixed performance schedule, the experience may follow activities naturally taking place within the community that day.
Depending on circumstances, this may include:
Walking through the bush
Gathering wild foods
Learning about traditional plants
Observing hunting preparation
Learning about bows and arrows
Visiting family living areas
Listening to stories about Hadzabe traditions
Wildlife hunting or other specific activities cannot be guaranteed because the experience depends on the community's normal activities.
Later, visit a Datoga community.
Learn about livestock keeping, household life, traditional clothing and metalwork.
Some Datoga families are known for traditional blacksmithing, including producing tools, ornaments and arrowheads from recycled metal.
After the cultural experience, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, travel toward the Karatu and Ngorongoro highland area.
Continue to a Maasai community for a cultural visit.
