Itinerary

After breakfast, transfer to the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro for registration and final preparations.
Begin trekking through the lush rainforest toward Mti Mkubwa Camp.
The first day is relatively gentle and provides a comfortable introduction to the mountain.
Dinner and overnight at camp.

After breakfast, continue uphill as the dense forest gradually opens into heath and moorland.
The route climbs onto the beautiful Shira Plateau, one of Kilimanjaro's major volcanic features. TANAPA identifies Shira as Kilimanjaro's oldest volcanic peak and plateau area.
Continue toward Shira 2 Camp for dinner and overnight.

Today is an important acclimatization day.
Climb gradually toward Lava Tower at approximately 4,600 metres before descending to Barranco Camp.
The climb-high, sleep-lower profile helps your body adjust to increasing altitude.
Dinner and overnight beneath the Barranco Wall.

After breakfast, begin by climbing the famous Barranco Wall.
Continue across valleys and rocky terrain toward Karanga Camp.
This shorter trekking day provides additional time for acclimatization and rest before moving higher.
Dinner and overnight at Karanga Camp.

After breakfast, continue toward Barafu Camp.
The landscape becomes increasingly dry and rocky as you approach the summit base.
After arriving, enjoy an early dinner and prepare your summit clothing, headlamp and other equipment.
Rest before beginning the summit attempt around midnight.

Wake around midnight and begin the final ascent.
Climb slowly toward Stella Point before continuing along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and in Africa.
After photographs and celebration, descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing to Mweka Camp.
Dinner and overnight at Mweka Camp.

After breakfast, descend through the rainforest toward Mweka Gate.
Complete the park procedures and receive your Kilimanjaro certificate after a successful climb.
Your driver will transfer you to your hotel for a hot shower, rest and preparation for the safari.

After breakfast, meet your safari guide and begin the journey toward Serengeti National Park.
After entering the park, enjoy your first game drive across the open plains.
Possible wildlife includes lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many antelope species.
Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

After breakfast, continue exploring Serengeti National Park.
Your guide will select productive wildlife areas according to the season and current animal movements.
After lunch, continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive at your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for your final wildlife safari.
The crater supports a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, zebras and wildebeest. NCAA identifies the crater as the world's largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera and notes its rich wildlife population.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending from the crater and returning to Arusha or Moshi.
